Bio

Aaron Soffin works in all aspects of video production and post-production – writing scripts; lighting and shooting; performing interviews; and editing, mixing, and output of final material.  Watch the short documentaries Aaron has produced, directed, shot and edited himself here.

Aaron is currently managing production and post-production of the online video curriculum for Relay Graduate School of Education, an innovative program for training new teachers.

Prior to that, Aaron spent a year in Rwanda, working with Voices of Rwanda, filming and interviewing survivors of the Rwandan genocide, and compiling these testimonies for VOR’s archive.

Aaron began his career working as a feature-length documentary film editor.  His credits include Four Seasons Lodge, which aired on PBS in 2011, The Return of the War Room, a film by Chris Hegedus and D A Pennebaker, and several films by Andrew Berends of storyteller films.

Aaron graduated from Yale University with a BA in Film Studies.
